Rob and Emily joined me recently for an engagement session in Reading. I think the location fit them perfectly. Rob made sure he kept Emily smiling the entire time.

We planned to start in the city and then venture out to some rural areas, but due to an iPhone directions error, they ended up at the wrong place. By the time we finally met up, the sun was far under the horizon but I was able to squeeze out a few last shots in pretty much pure darkness. Thanks Nikon!

Brent + Allison | Myerstown Wedding

I hoped that Brent and Allison’s early spring wedding wouldn’t be blessed with snow when we first booked. Luckily enough, spring came early this year and many trees were even in bloom! It was a bit chilly and a tad windy early in the day but the girls stayed warm by dreaming up thoughts of sandy beaches and sunshine. (that and huddling behind a pickup truck )

Even though the day had rain showers on and off, it didn’t dampen any spirits and we were still able to get in some great portraits before the reception got everyone partying.

This was a special day for my additional shooter Char since Brent is her cousin and many of her family members were in attendance including her husband and two sisters. A huge thanks to her for accompanying me through wind and downpours!

Congratulations again to Brent and Allison. This was such a great way to kick off the 2012 season. The entire gallery can be found here. (password required)

2011 Year in Review

Well I know it is far past the new year. In fact, February is just around the corner. March holds the first of many weddings booked for 2012. This post should have been up a long time ago, but hope you all still enjoy the recap. I had so many favorites, that not everything would fit into the blog post. If someone is missing, it was surely not intentional!

Thanks again to Char from Char Photography for including me on some of the beautiful weddings seen below.

Jeremy Bischoff Photography has grown tremendously in 2011. I would like to thank everyone who trusted my associates and I to provide them with the photos to cherish their important milestones.

To my seniors, you are embarking on a journey that has many paths. Find the one that is true to yourself. I’m so glad to have had the chance to work with all of you. To all the couples, your special day was a moment that can never happen again. I hope your photos are a reminder of all the great times of tears and laughter.

I hope to think that we have provided all of our clients with a quality product that they can be proud to display and share with family and friends. Most of all, I hope that our style and relaxed atmosphere gave everyone the confidence to let your true and natural beauty shine through!

Russ + Meghan | Villanova wedding

Russ and Meghan’s wedding was a perfect end to my 2011 season. Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Katharine of Siena where the woodwork fills the space with a beautiful warm glow and the stained glass lets in the perfect amount of light.

Their reception was held at the Overbrook Golf Club where they hired a band that kept the party rocking all night long with a mix of oldies but goodies and Irish folk music. Meghan’s dad broke open a bottle of brandy that was bought when she was born that he had saved to the day of her wedding. We even finished the night with a sparkler exit.

Congratulations again, I’m so glad I was able to share the day with you!

Will + Audrey | Lititz PA engagement

Will is currently a marine stationed in Japan so I was happy to open up my schedule to fit in a short notice engagement session during his leave. He and Audrey stay in touch often online, but they really cherish the time they have together. You can tell they have a genuine love for each other. Audrey is pre-med with several additional minors which will have her graduating just before their wedding planned for late fall 2012.

Can I just say how much I love when couples bring props along for their session? Will’s grandpa bought the 59 MGA in 1961 and it has been in the family ever since. It was a little chilly to drive it, but the photos rocked!

We finished the shoot with a once in a lifetime opportunity – since the lake is draining at speedwell, we got some great reflection photos at the bottom of the drainage barrier where there is usually a small creek. I’m really bummed to be losing this beautiful outdoor recreation area. Hopefully the money is raised to make the repairs and refill it without much impact on the eco system. $6 million is quite steep pricetag though. Join Save Speedwell on Facebook!

Travis + Brooke | Central PA Wedding Photography

You may remember Brooke and Travis from their Cabin engagement earlier this year. They both wanted a country themed wedding and did a great job of adding a lot of their own touches to the day. Although the temperature and wind wasn’t very cooperative, they still managed to have a perfect little outdoor ceremony followed by a barn reception complete with line dancing instruction.

Brooke gave Joel and I plenty of the schedule for photos through the day. Since I had some extra time, I was able to get some really fun and creative shots on the grounds. I mean what else would you do with a red claw-foot tub other than put a bride in it?
