Ryan + Heather | Wedding Preview

Saturday I had the chance to shoot a wedding with Char that I just have to share! The bride and groom both value photography and left plenty of time in the day to shoot some amazing photos. I will have a full post up soon, but here’s a teaser image.

For the techies: It is tough to capture both the fireworks and Ryan and Heather without movement. Add the fact that I didn’t have a tripod with me and the odds were stacked against me…The D3 worked flawlessly in the low light. I bumped up to ISO 6400 with a little off camera flash up near the barn. I was so happy to see that one of the shots captured perfectly as the burst happened over their heads!
