I had the pleasure of attending a Society of Design ( http://www.societyofdesign.org/ ) presentation at the Appalachian Brewing company by Steven Heller who has authored over 100 books on design and popular culture. He was the art director for the New York Times for 33 years, working closely in the New York Times Book Review. He currently holds a position at the School of the Visual Arts in NYC.
