Daniel and April have a special affection for Longwood Gardens. It was there during the Christmas season that they got engaged! Daniel recalled the story while we were there saying that he was so paranoid that he was going to reveal the secret that he didn’t tell any friends. The only problem then was that there would be no one to take a picture. Sometimes things just work their way out though since there was a semi-professional photographer that captured the moment and was more than happy to share the photo.
We had a fun time exploring the beautiful grounds and shooting at lots of locations around the gardens. I even managed to snap a picture of them in the main fountain garden without other visitors around – a small miracle with the amount of patrons that day!
They were nice enough to invite me to share in one of their other loves – the Phillies. This of course was fine with me since I am also a huge fan. We shot a couple photos outside the stadium before going in, having some cheesesteaks and sitting back for a game that eventually ended right before 1AM (we left around 12:15). This was also the game that news about Osama bin Laden was released to fans by texts and news feeds to chants of USA, USA through the stadium over national ESPN. Thanks for allowing me to share in your day and being a part of history!
