Reid + Stacie | Cameron Estate Inn Wedding

Reid has been friends with my brother Joel since elementary school. Joel is also my primary second shooter. Since Reid moved out of state, he wasn’t aware of the fact that we shoot weddings together. He found us at a wedding show last winter and was so happy he ran to our booth to talk to us. He ended up booking with me and had his wedding on 8/27/11.

The week of the wedding, an earthquake shook the east coast. As the day got closer, so did hurricane Irene. We hoped for the path to veer off toward the sea, but unluckily, it stayed on land. Reid and Stacie were already planning to do a first look, and it was a good thing too since it started to rain just as we finished with a few photos outside. When a very short window of no rain happened, we were able to get a couple more photos on the beautiful grounds in front of the Cameron Estate Inn.

The ceremony was held on the front porch, and the rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the dancing that went on at the reception. It was a blast!
